Silvae Spring/Summer 2016 Fabric Print
Black orbs silhouette ghostly lilies in the most recent print that I created for Silvae. I created an additional print using the same drawings and repeat pattern as the first print then added the black lines digitally. The last photo is one of five lilies that I used for the pattern.
Mural Materials
I've been getting some enquiries about the materials that I used for the "Other Hand" mural. This is a Princeton Catalyst Polytip Bristle Filbert and Egbert, size 6. I used this brush for the majority of the mural. It was new, before I started the project. Now it's a fossilized wand. Photo by Amy Mcmullen

Forest For The Trees Mural Project
I just got back to the studio after being in Portland, OR for Forest For The Trees Mural Project. After 12 days and about 130hrs. my very first outdoor mural, "Other Hand", is finally complete! It's located on the side of The Academy Theater in the Montavilla neighborhood of Portland. Thank you to all of the people who lent me a hand this week. This experience was so rewarding!
With each imperfect inked line, I keep moving forward; knowing there is a bigger picture to consider.
The Spanish newspaper, 20 Minutos, asked me in an interview last year, "If you had to relate your body of work with music and/or movies, those would be...?" My answer... "If the T.V. series 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' had a baby with the movie 'The Piano' and it was narrated by Michio Kaku with a soundtrack by Jónsi & Alex, that would be my art."
Forest For The Trees Mural Project
In about one week, I'll be back in Portland, OR for Forest For The Trees! During this last week of August I'll be creating an outdoor mural on this wall, the side of the Academy Theater. It will be the largest piece of art that I've created, to date. The wall is 60ft wide be 40ft tall! Wish me luck!
